Constructed from NZ grown timber using tapered, wedged mortise & tenon joints glued using hide glue. The backrest is steam bent & laminated black walnut. White oak spindles, wych elm seat pan, white ash legs & stretchers. Finish Osmo PolyX-Oil.

Elm legs inspired by steam bent spade handles turned green, split on the band saw, steam bent and dried. Walnut tops fitted to the leg angles, wedged & glued. Finished in Osmo PolyX-Oil. Larger table 620x400x550mm high, smaller 750x470x450mm high
