These pair are Laminated with 10 different timbers to create an abstract effect. Size: H 120 mm x 45 mm.

Apricot pot turned end for end creating cool bark design, Lemonwood base. Several coats of lacquer airbrushed. Yorkshire grit finish. Size H 100 mm x 100 mm Dia.

Base: Matai. Body: Red Oak, Macro, Flowering cherry. Wax ring: Macro. Top: Red Oak. Rings: Walnut and Rimu. Size: H 310 mm x 100 mm base Dia.

This piece is Apricot and Elm with a red beech burl lid with bark inclusions filled with blue mica resin. Body has blue mica resin plugs. Size: H 50 mm x 105 mm dia

This was my very first carving of a wood turned piece. The wood is Lemonwood it was a 4 pronged crotch piece. The base and half ball are black Walnut. Finish is 7 coats of lacquer and airbrushed. Size H 300 mm x base 140 mm top 180 mm.

This piece was turned from Miro. This was my 2nd carving project using a wood turned base; I wanted to produce the effect of a bronze piece which I think I achieved.  Size is 280 mm x 80 mm.

Crotch piece of apricot turned sideways to produce this effect with branch showing on side, natural edge rim and body with ornate base. Several coats of lacquer buffed with Yorkshire grit then fine paste Yorkshire grit. Size H 190 mm x 120 mm dia.

This piece is Wattle and Apricot with blue mica lacquered rings 7 coats lacquer airbrushed. Size: H 160 mm x 160 mm dia.

Pine lamp inside out turning with birds eye pine base. Size H 480 x 200 mm Dia seven coats lacquer.

A nice piece of walnut with a bad bark inclusion, so filled it with a polymer blue mica pearl powder resin this really highlights the walnut. Lacquered with 6 coats and polished with Yorkshire grit. Size: H 60 mm x 280 dia.

This piece is Apricot with a Kami lid, 2 coats orange shellac with 5 coats lacquer, finished with Yorkshire grit. Size: H 40mm x 70 mm dia.

Timber is Apricot, I saw a small seedling growing so I thought this would be cool to reproduce. very delicate to do. Black walnut base with half round Black walnut center. Size: H 170 mm x base 85 mm top 65 mm dia.

Red beech burl, Walnut, Mulberry, Ash, Osage and Apricot 4 rings. finish orange shellac and 5 coats lacquer. Size: H 120 mm x 45 mm dia

This piece is macrocarpa heavily airbrushed to represent bronze on the outside and inside holes are rough to represent pitted bronze , gears are from a truck. size H 175 mm x 210 mm dia.
